Great Barrier Reef
Your visit to Australia 's Great Barrier Reef is an experience you will never forget. An array of new sights and sensations in what is seemingly another world can be enjoyed from a wide selection of modern cruise vessels providing excursions to the reef every day of the year. You can go by large fast catamarans to large pontoons with Reef Interpretation Centres with underwater theatre, touch tanks, submarine viewing and glass bottom boats or you may prefer to sail leisurely to some of the many coral cays and islands. All day excursions include transfers from Agincourt , lunch and equipment for snorkelling and diving at prices ranging from $60 - $200 AUD.
Skyrail, Scenic Rail & Kuranda
Take the famous and historic Kuranda Scenic Railway on one of the world's most scenic and spectacular train rides up the mountains of the Great Dividing Range winding past the Barron Falls to Kuranda the village in the rainforest.
Wander through the colourful markets and numerous other attractions before returning via Skyrail - an unforgettable journey on the world's longest cableway skimming over the canopy of the rainforest. Visit the interpretive centres at two stations before returning to Agincourt by coach. Full day excursion is from $70 - 171 AUD.
Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation
The Daintree Rainforest in situated in North Queensland's Wet Tropics World Heritage Area that covers an area of 894,000 hectares and is home to over 3000 species of fauna and an abundance of animal and bird life among which are some of the world's most unique and endangered species. Atherton Tablelands

Fishing in the Tropics
Tropical North Queensland is famous as the home of big game fishing in Australia where you can catch and tag the mighty Black Marlin or experience some of the best light tackle game fishing on the reef. Estuary and river fishing is excellent and all these fishing tours to the reef and rivers operate daily and cost from $75 AUD for half day estuary fishing and from $165 AUD for full day reef fishing.
Aboriginal Experience
Many aboriginal tribes existed in the tropical rainforest of North Queensland and their story is best told at the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park in Cairns , where their 40,000 year old culture is preserved and presented authentically in five theatres. Here you will also have the chance to interact with members of the aboriginal community and to learn about bush foods and medicine and to view segments of the traditional Tjapukai corroborees.
Cooktown, Cape York & Outback
Cooktown is the site of where Captain Cook repaired his damaged vessel during his voyage of discovery of Australia and later to be the port of entry for the many who tried their luck at the Palmer River goldfields. Located at the doorstep to Cape York and the Outback it's a place of great history and well worth a visit by coach or by air. To experience the outback, fly with the Postie on his mail run to remote cattle stations to the top of Australia at Cape York .
